The workshop was conducted from 9:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m.
The guest lecturer made the topic lucid and interactive with her demonstrations and questions. The presentation too was insightful. Explicit examples were given to elaborate the meaning of each concept being taught. The topic - Mindfulness which is a subtopic of the audit course: Understanding the self, made the class think and search for solutions to their own problems. Activities to destress, unwind and relax the mind while being mindful were conducted by the lecturer. The idea of responding instead of reacting was given utmost priority by the speaker. The session became more interesting and interactive when the speaker asked self-assessing questions to the class and appreciated them for their answers.
The lecture was quite informative and engaging. The lecturer made sure to include all the aspects of the topic being discussed. All the questions by the students were addressed by the speaker and they were motivated to adopt mindfulness in their day-to-day lives. The lecture was an enriching experience not only for those grappling with stress and anxiety but for all of us who learnt to make mindfulness a way of life!
